Kazak 2012
This is what happened when we discovered the Mangistau region in Kazakhstan: we were following in the footsteps of some trails around the Aral Sea and we ended up watching the spectacular photos of a region south of Aktau.
In Mangistauskaya find depression Karagie (the black mouth) which is the lowest point in Kazakhstan as well as the territory of the former Soviet Union (132m below sea level). Among the many attractions of the peninsula there are also the Mangyshlak Tamshaly Springs, the Gates Shetpinskie on the Silk Road, the legendary sacred mountain Sherkala located near the ruins of the fortress of the son of Genghis Khan, Dzhuchi, Lake Saura, mountains Tau Mangis, the deepest river canyon Karazhao, mountains Kulandag located on the east coast of Garabogazköl Bay, Zhosaly Hill and the Blue Bay. So you can not just get bored. lela rose

In the map above you can see the detail of our itinerary in the Mangistau region (which will be the region that will travel almost entirely off-road). As mentioned we are particularly interested in exploring the desert region, which is located in Sude-East of Aktau where you can admire the shows offered by nature.
